Yoga Circle for Teen Girls
This In-Person Yoga Workshop Series teaches teen girls (ages 13-18) how to build self-confidence through yoga, meditation, breathing, self-reflection, and group sharing while learning healthy coping strategies for managing stress and improving emotional health, body image, and self-esteem.
Dates and Times:
Sunday, June 8, 2025 1-4pm HST
Tuesday, June 10, 2025 2-4pm HST
Thursday, June 12, 2025 2-4pm HST
Where: Blue Lotus Kailua (1300 Kailua Road, Kailua, HI 96734)
Price: $160 total for all 3 sessions
*Enrollment in all 3 classes preferred. Minimum of 6 participants needed to run this Yoga Circle series.
Sarah developed Yoga Circle during summer 2015 to teach teen girls how to tune into their body, mind, and spirit through her unique method of integrating group counseling with the 8 limbs of yoga. As a licensed therapist (LCSW) and former high school counselor, psychology educator, and yoga instructor at Punahou School, Sarah has over 2 decades of experience running girls groups and teaching teens how to embody their best selves through yoga, group counseling, and self-reflection.
Based on current research, we know that kids who practice yoga regularly experience increased body awareness, confidence, concentration, patience, mindfulness, creativity, and emotional control. Moreover, adolescent girls who practice yoga regularly develop healthier body images, eating habits, self-esteem, and strategies for coping with stress.
